Opening Reception: Are You A Friend of Dorothy?

Friends (and acquaintances) of Dorothy jetted into Hashimoto Contemporary LA last week for the opening of the group exhibition "Are You A Friend of Dorothy?" This painting show brought together the vibrant works of Santiago Galeas, Jean-Paul Mallozzi, Juan Arango Palacios, Carlos Rodriguez, and Justin Yoon, who fearlessly explore themes of queer intimacy, pleasure, and joy. Among the eclectic group of guests, we must highlight and appreciate the dedicated support of the artists, collectors, and their friends and families—without you, it would be impossible to realize these moments of camaraderie and celebration.

 

If you missed opening night, the exhibition will be on view until Saturday, July 8th. We are open Tuesday - Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.
