Overview
Installation image from "A Tree Falling In The Woods" curated by FMLY Projects at Hashimoto Contemporary SF

Hashimoto Contemporary SF is pleased to present A Tree Falls in the Woods, a group show curated by FMLY. This dynamic exhibition features a roster of acclaimed artists from diverse locations and backgrounds; each creating their own rich narratives that transcend current trends, styles and subject-matter.

In our rapidly changing world, the featured artists’ adept use of traditional tools and mediums speak to a transcendence of time and their formidable skill and vision. Each artist’s distinctive style is linked through their meditative studio practice, a welcome respite from the frenetic pace of mass image consumption. The work in Tree Falls in the Woods presents a moment of solace, each piece serving as an intrinsic response to the contemporary moment.

FEATURED ARTISTS:

Rebecca Morgan, Alfred Steiner, Heather Benjamin, Chris Oh, Emma Kohlmann, Matt Leines, Barnaby Whitfield, Eric White, Dan Gluibizzi, Josh Jefferson, Raina Hamner, Karin Hagen, Joakim Ojanen, Howard Fonda, Daniel Davidson, Ryan Travis Christian, Matthew Craven, Elizabeth Huey, Chance Lord, Russell Tyler, Mark Whalen, Brian Willmont

Please join us for A Tree Falls in the Woods, opening Saturday, March 3 with an evening reception from 6pm - 9pm. The exhibition will be on view through March 24.  For more information, additional images, or exclusive content, please email us at info@hashimotocontemporary.com
